Hi. I’m Steve Cornelius and I have over 30 years’ experience as an educator. Throughout my career I have been a classroom teacher, a Principal of three Schools, a Manager of Resource Teachers of Learning and Behaviour and I am currently a progressive business owner.

I personally work online and out of a Red Beach Primary School providing direct maths tutoring to students who need to advance maths achievement and confidence. Most students make over 2 years age progress in 1-year.

EducateNZ has tutors across New Zealand providing tutoring in Math, English and Science, to students Year 3 -13. Our tutors work to understand the learning needs of students’ and to put in place programmes to meet their respective needs. EducateNZ tutors provide a weekly eMail report to parents/caregivers on activity, achievement, and progress.

My biggest thrill when teaching/tutoring a student is:

“To see the smile on a student’s face when they have succeeded at something they thought was impossible.”
